Jane is the founder and chief communication strategist at Venn Communications. An accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in external, executive, brand, crisis, employee, and change communication, she has worked with for-profit corporations, foundations, chambers of commerce, and associations. No matter the size, she can draw out the compelling and creative stories about their work, their people, and their missions. Her work has resulted in powerful new identities for organizations and improved employees’ ability to identify and share their brand – in their own words.

For Jane, the stakeholder is key to finding the message and the purpose of any communication. In employee crisis communications, staff are the focus. In marketing, client’s needs drive the messaging. And in media relations, the compelling human story sparks the reporters’ interest. Underneath all of this is the need for clear, creative, and thoughtful storytelling. 

As a natural connector, Jane brings different people and groups together to ensure all communications are inclusive, authentic, and creative.  She is the founder and co-chair of the international development industry’s communicators network, which brings together communicators to share best practices and enhance our collective efforts to help improve lives around the world through impactful, sustainable developments.

Besides her passion for communications, Jane loves hanging with her husband and kids, bike riding,  photography, karaoke, and travel.
